About Us
The Department of Student Media provides students a chance to gain real world experience in print journalism, television and radio broadcast production. Student media plays an integral role at 麻豆精品视频by covering its wide range of events and programs. Led by professional advisors, students involved in student media can acquire experience that cannot be found in a classroom. In addition to building resumes, student media offers a wide range of paid positions that allows students to focus on their academics while also committing time to producing materials and building portfolios.

HIGHLIGHTS
In recent years, out students and recent alums have covered the Stanley Cup, the Final Four, and training camps for both the NBA and NFL. They've secured internships at the Sun Sentinel and Latino News Network and the Tacoma News Tribune. They've contributed to statewide school board reporting projects and secured employment at organizations near and far, including the Orlando Business Journal, WLRN, Naples Daily News, Palm Beach Film and Television Commission, Philadelphia Inquirer, and plenty more. They've also won local and national awards for short films and other productions.

An award-winning student publication based out of Boca Raton, the University Press circulates to more than 30,000 students across three campuses in Broward and Palm Beach counties. As a fully student-run and operated news organization, 麻豆精品视频 staff has no control over any of the content published by the University Press. Students are entirely responsible for every aspect of the organization, which includes reporting, editing, design, and more. Aside from printing newspapers every spring and fall semesters, the University Press operates its daily website, , and several social media accounts. Students who join can find themselves in design, photography, copy editing, reporting, and just about anything else the publication needs.
The aim of the student TV station is to educate students who have an interest in television production and the newsgathering process more generally by developing real-world experience outside of the classroom. Those in the Florida Atlantic community benefit from being routinely informed about news, sports, and entertainment happening across all of the university campuses.
