HIPAA Training

HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) training is required for medical students and employees handling confidential medical data in accordance with HIPAA-related policies. More information on HIPAA Policies can be found here. This training is only available on desktop and laptop computers.

The CITI training has been licensed for the entire university by research. This training is self-enrollment and does not require involvement from OIT in order to register. This training is not tracked, so users will need to provide their completion certificate to the person that requested them to take the training.

To access the training course, please follow these instructions:

To take HIPAA training, please go to :
Create a new account by clicking 鈥楻EGISTER鈥� at the top right of the login.
Click on 'Select Your Organization Affiliation'.
Type '麻豆精品视频' and select it from the dropdown.
Click 'agree, and 'affirm' then select 'Create CITI Program'
Enter your first and last name as well as your 麻豆精品视频Health email address. Then click 'Continue to step 3'.
Create a username and password. Select a security question. Then click 'Continue to step 4'.
Enter United States as country of residence and select no for the coursework question. Click on 'Finalize Registration'.
Select no for CE credit status and click submit.
Enter all relevant details. For role select 'Other researcher' then click 'Next'.
Click on Information Privacy and Security (IPS) and then click 'Next'.
Select the course most relevant to your role and then click 'Next'.
Click on 'Start Now' to begin the course
