�鶹��Ʒ��Ƶ recently hosted the 57th annual Honors Convocation on April 15, which recognizes the university’s most outstanding students and faculty. Congratulations to the four 2026 Convocation awardees from the Schmidt College of Science!

• Online Faculty Award: Donna Marion, Ph.D., Psychology
• Distinguished Mentor of the Year Award: Rindy Anderson, Ph.D., Biological Sciences
• University Scholar Award Recipient: Siena Botzer-Gunter
• University Club Merit Scholar Award: Macy Butler

At �鶹��Ʒ��Ƶ's 57th annual Honors Convocation on April 15, two esteemed faculty members from the Schmidt College of Science were honored for their exceptional dedication to teaching and mentoring the next generation of students. Donna Marion, Ph.D., received the Online Faculty Award, and Rindy Anderson, Ph.D., , received the Distinguished Mentor of the Year Award.

“Recognition of the strengths in my online teaching by peers and experts is a true honor, second only to student success and expressions of gratitude I receive from students along the way,” expressed Marion, a senior instructor in the Department of Psychology.

“I am deeply honored and humbled to receive this award,” stated Anderson, an associate professor in the Department of Biological Sciences. “Working with undergraduate researchers has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career, and I am grateful to have them as such an integral part of my research program.”
