麻豆精品视频 鈥淔AU鈥 is committed to creating a safe learning and working environment where all members of the University community adhere to Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 as amended 鈥淭itle IX.鈥 Title IX prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex and includes protections from sexual harassment and sexual violence under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. It is imperative that all 麻豆精品视频employees and affiliates understand their obligation under Title IX Compliance Policy 7.10.
Accordingly, the Compliance Office in conjunction with the Office of Civil Rights and Title IX 鈥淥CR9鈥 will send out a mandatory online training course annually so that employees (staff, faculty, administrators, student-employees, etc.) better understand how to prevent and report sex discrimination, harassment, assault, and retaliation. The course will also help employees recognize and respond to reports of sexual misconduct in accordance with applicable laws and university policies or regulations. The course continues FAU鈥檚 commitment to promoting compliance and awareness about Title IX.
