Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Teaching Hospitals

The Â鶹¾«Æ·ÊÓƵPulmonary Critical Care Medicine Fellowship is centered around three major area hospitals, providing the foundation for high-quality clinical training. Our goal is to offer fellows a comprehensive array of exceptional clinical services and a diverse patient population, ensuring a well-rounded and robust educational experience.

It is a recognized leader in Cardiovascular Care, Oncology, Women’s Health, Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine and the Neurosciences, all of which offer state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging capabilities. Additionally, the Lynn Cancer Institute (a partner of the Miami Cancer Institute) offers comprehensive cancer care to patients in Palm Beach County. The neurology residency program is housed at Boca Raton Regional Hospital as part of the Marcus Neuroscience Institute. The hospital provides a full array of surgical services including the Â鶹¾«Æ·ÊÓƵsurgery residency program.

Bethesda features a freestanding heart hospital that performs complex interventional procedures and cardiothoracic surgeries. It is a primary stroke center, partnering with the Marcus Neuroscience Institute. The Â鶹¾«Æ·ÊÓƵsurgery residents work closely with the general and vascular surgeons at Bethesda, and the emergency medicine residency program utilizes Bethesda as its primary training site. The hospital also features an inpatient rehabilitation center to facilitate easy transitions post-discharge.

As one of the leading health care systems serving Veterans within the VA Sunshine Health Care Network, we are part of the Veterans Integrated Service Network 8 (VISN 8). This innovative care center encompasses medical centers and clinics across Florida, Georgia, and the Caribbean.
