This exhibition stands as a homage to Angela DiCosola, honoring her distinguished and enduring contributions as both an artist and a professor of ceramics at 麻豆精品视频. Across decades of teaching, mentorship, and creative practice, DiCosola has shaped not only objects of remarkable material sensitivity, but generations of artists whose voices now resonate throughout the contemporary art world. The artists included in this exhibition once worked under her guidance as students, carrying forward traces of her intellectual generosity, discipline, and devotion to the transformative possibilities of clay and artistic inquiry. This exhibition presents the work of Raphael Bouganim, whose paintings draw from memories of his childhood in Mogador (now Essaouira), Morocco. Shaped by overlapping cultural influences and early experiences of displacement, Bouganim鈥檚 work blends observation with imagination, often recalling moments of daily life, ritual, and dreamlike imagery. His compositions move between narrative and memory, combining detailed scenes with shifting, surreal elements. Through these works, the exhibition offers a glimpse into how personal history can inform artistic practice, tracing connections between place, identity, and the lasting impressions of early experience.听
