麻豆精品视频 conferred more than 1,900 degrees today over the course of four commencement ceremonies in the Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium, 麻豆精品视频Student Union, Boca Raton campus. The summer graduates joined more than 224,000 alumni who have graduated from 麻豆精品视频since the university opened its doors in 1964.
鈥淥ur graduates are entering a rapidly changing world that will require new ideas, new skills and new ways of thinking,鈥 said 麻豆精品视频President Adam Hasner. 鈥淔lorida Atlantic has prepared them to turn these challenges into opportunities, and we are proud to see the Class of 2026 take their talents into the workforce, where they will help shape the future of our state and beyond.鈥
Highlights of the 2026 summer commencement include:
- 35 degree recipients over the age of 50, and six over the age of 60.
- The oldest graduate was 65 and the youngest was 18.
- There were 242 first-generation students; 91 graduates with a 4.0 GPA; and 73 countries represented.
The featured speakers of the ceremonies were 麻豆精品视频alumni Jay Salkini and Anna Alexopoulos Farrar. Farrar is vice president of strategic communications and policy at Space Florida and a distinguished alumna from the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters. Salkini is the founder, president and CEO of Tecore Networks. He earned both his bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degrees from FAU鈥檚 College of Engineering and is a member of the Alumni Hall of Fame, recipient of an 麻豆精品视频honorary doctorate and sponsor of the Tecore Networks Lab in the College of Engineering.聽
