Dana Weinstein joined the University’s Office of the General Counsel in 2025 and serves as primary legal counsel to the Division of Research. Before joining the University, she represented healthcare companies in transactional and regulatory matters and clerked for the Honorable Judge Dorian K. Damoorgian and the Honorable Judge Burton C. Conner at Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal. Earlier in her career, Ms. Weinstein worked as an emergency room nurse in South Florida.

She is licensed to practice law in Florida and a member of the Florida Bar Health Law Section and the National Association of College and University Attorneys. Ms. Weinstein earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Â鶹¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ and graduated summa cum laude from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate and served as Associate Editor of the Nova Law Review.
