Dr. Rabia Shahid serves as an Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering at 麻豆精品视频, where she teaches and conducts research in cybersecurity, information security, digital system design, and hardware implementations of secure and wireless communication protocols. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from George Mason University and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from George Washington University, with specialized research experience in cryptography, cryptographic algorithms, and secure hardware architectures.

With more than five years of academic experience, Dr. Shahid has taught courses in cybersecurity, information security, digital logic, and core computer engineering. She has also contributed to curriculum development for information security and cybersecurity coursework, helping shape modern instructional material and hands-on learning experiences.

Before transitioning fully into academia, she worked in U.S. industry as an FPGA engineer, contributing to advanced digital and wireless systems at Keysight Technologies and IXIA. Her engineering work included FPGA-based development for 4G/5G technologies and 802.11 protocols, along with RTL design, verification, and FPGA prototyping.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Shahid served as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at George Mason University, supporting research in hardware/software co-design and cryptographic engineering while assisting instruction in digital systems and network security. She has also co-authored peer-reviewed publications in FPGA acceleration, cryptographic hardware, wireless security, and applied machine learning.

She is highly motivated to support AccessTECH鈥檚 mission and is committed to helping learners successfully enter and grow in the cybersecurity field.
